Westchase One and Two are located in the Westchase Office Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. Both building were originally built in the late 1980s and hold over 95,000 square feet of office space, leased and managed by Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.

Due to the buildings’ sealant being past their life expectancies, the customer called on EDS to fix their water intrusion problem. Prior to the new sealant installation, the joints’ preparation required extensive prep work involving grinding, scraping, and priming, while at the same time ensuring minimal disturbance of tenants. Work also was performed on the mullion to glass gaskets by removing and replacing them with a silicone based applied wet seal. The concrete façade was cleaned and sealed to ensure waterproofing integrity throughout the buildings.

This project was completed during normal business hours and fully occupied throughout the entire duration. EDS finished the projects without any tenant interruption and, despite the rainy fall weather, finished on time and within the customer’s monetary budget.
