The recent recession has affected everyone's behavior in ways large and small. For Exterior Diagnostic Services, it has caused us to seek and adopt new ways of conducting business. These changes have proven to be astute and very beneficial to our clients.

We have cut our supply costs by making larger material purchases of items with a longer shelf life, resulting in volume pricing from our suppliers. All the EDS branches are now under one account with one nationwide equipment rental company, resulting in better pricing due to our volume. And of course the labor market has tightened up quite a bit, stabilizing and, within certain markets, even reducing our labor rates.

EDS has indeed taken every advantage of these price reductions and continues to explore ways to cut operating costs. We are happy to pass the savings on to our clientele by offering very competitive pricing and innovative ideas in which to bring our services to you.

Many property owners, hospital administrators and home owners' associations are opting to use their reserve funds to do their capital projects ahead of schedule because of competitive contract bidding, reductions in supply costs, and lower labor rates. This is an excellent time to secure a great deal on restoration and/or maintenance projects that have been planned for your building(s) and parking garage(s).

We look forward to sharing these savings with you as we work to improve and protect your property investment(s). It is a privilege to serve you and help everyone to identify a silver lining in this economy.
